| Ami L. Brooks is a native of South Central Kentucky and has been a resident of Logan County since 1997. She is licensed to practice in both Kentucky and Tennessee. After graduating from Western Kentucky University in 1994 and the Nashville School of Law in 2008, she began her practice as a solo practitioner in both Springfield, Tennessee, and Russellville, Kentucky where she represented clients mainly in criminal defense, juvenile law (representing parents and children), family law, and probate matters. 2015-2019 Ami was joined by Joe Hendricks to form the partnership of Brooks & Hendricks, PLLC. In 2019 Joe Hendricks was elected to the bench as Circuit Judge in Logan and Todd Counties. In 2020 the firm of Brooks, & Hedges was formed where Ami currently practices in the areas of medical accounts receivable, estate planning, probate, family law, juvenile law, and criminal defense.
